Ingredients:
- 2 pears
- 1 onion
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of old fashioned oats
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 6 pecan nuts
- 1/2 cup gorgonzola
- 1 prepared puff pastry
Preparation:
- let the olive oil warm up in your cooking pan and fry the onions (in rings). Add a spoon of butter and let it melt.
- Now add the brown sugar and let it cook until it starts bubbling. Add the pear and bake good.
- Meanwhile, fill a bowl with milk, the eggs, nutmeg and salt. Stir well, make sure you don't make bubbles.
- Put the pear-mix in the puff pastry and pour the milk-mix over it. Now dump the gorgonzola over the pie.
- Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes on 220°C.
