After the whole Essena Oneill thing, there was something I had to get off my chest.
There was this girl commenting on my Instagram I had an easy life getting paid for all the picures I take, claiming I'm the Essena Oneill 2.
Yes, it hurts reading comments like this. No, I'm not someone who just says well ok, she's just an attention whore. (Like a lot of my friends told me after reading that).
The first thing I think when I read this is "Why does she comment this on my pictures and why did I deserve this?". I'm not expecting to get answer to that question. The only thing I can do is tell my readers a bit more about my life as a blogger to maybe, set some things straight :)
So here are some facts:
- I don't get paid for my blog. And I admire some of my fellow bloggers who do get paid for it. Because it's a gift to wear your own style, stay true to it and make a living out of it!
- I do get sponsored items from PR agencies or brands, like most of the bloggers. I only post things I truly love and that are 100% me.
- I love blogging and talking about fashion as a hobby, it's not my ambition to make a living out of it. I think it's a perfect combination with being a teacher (which I love doing too!)
- So yes, it stays expensive being me, but I think we all know the struggle when we see something we love and we just want to buy it :)
I hope you enjoy this outfit!
