I hope this year will be filled with health, friendship, love, happiness and some great new adventures!
With a new year, there always come some resolutions.
This night, when my husband and I went to sleep, he asked me: "So, what are your resolutions for 2016?" and I answered "dunno, I don't do resolutions, it's stupid." A typical Anka answer.
But his question got me thinking about it. And here's what I came up with:
CONCLUSION 1: DRINK
I'm a bad drinker. I drink 1 glass of soda a day, max. Lately, a lot of people approached me about it and told me it was so unhealthy for me to not be drinking anything a whole day. So starting from today, I want to drink 1,5 L water (this will be a big challenge, because I don't like water) a day!
CONCLUSION 2: MESSY FEED
Sometimes, I get jealous of fellow bloggers their Instagram feed. It's so clean & in harmony while I'm making it look like Disneyland sometimes. It can be very messy, not in harmony at all (but it does reflect my personality, which is a structured chaos).
CONCLUSION 3: BLOG A LITLLE LESS, LOVE A LITTLE MORE
I think we're all kind of guilty to this one. There are times I get so caught up in my blog and handling my social media, I spend a whole evening focussing on it and I forget about relaxing, leaving it aside and enjoying my husband and dog a bit more. I realised it's not always good to get that caught up and I have to make time for my family.
CONCLUSION 4: TRY TO GET MY SHIT TOGETHER HAHA
Teaching, blogging, doing social media, keeping the house clean, working on a secret project,... It can be quite the messy situation. 2016 is the year to set priorities and make it work. I keep on forgetting things because I'm not organized anymore. I hope my new Kate Spade organizer will help me with that. My structured chaos has to become a structured-something-without-the-chaos.
